Strawberry Shortcake Protein Mug Cake

Hey all! I have read so much about these darn mug cakes and I finally decided to make one of my own! I love Strawberry Shortcake and I love quick treats…so I decided to go for a strawberry shortcake mug cake! It literally took me 5 minutes to make from start to finish…and look how prrrrty it turned out:)

  • Mix all cake ingredients in a medium bowl and blend well either with a wisk or hand blender. In a separate bowl, mix the topping ingredients (besides the strawberries) together and blend well.

I know it’s not safe to eat raw egg…but I just had to take a lick!

  • Spray a large mug with pam and then pour cake batter into the mug.

  • Microwave the mixture for 1 min and 30 seconds. Watch the microwave because you may need to stop half way through due to overflow. Continue cooking as soon as cake shrinks down.

  •  Remove the mug from the microwave and place the cake onto a plate.

  • Pour the frosting mixture over the top of the cake and then top with the strawberries. ENJOY!
