If you would like to jazz up your shredded BBQ Chicken to wow your guests…try lettuce wraps! This is such a simple dish and it is one of the most deliciously healthy entrees you can make to satisfy your BBQ cravings.
- Simply follow my Crock Pot Shredded BBQ Chicken recipe and then sauté onions on a skillet with olive oil. I typically use 1 tsp. of olive oil for 1 small onion.
- Slice onion to your liking and sauté on medium heat for a few minutes and then add a tsp. of stevia to the onions and continue sautéing until you have nicely browned onions.
- Scoop the healthy shredded BBQ chicken into a romaine leaf (after you have cleaned the lettuce) and then top with caramelized onions. Serve with your favorite healthy coleslaw and enjoy!
